Home Made Cleansing Creams:
The first step in caring for your skin is cleansing. Dust, perspiration, grease, stale make up, dirt, and bacteria collect on your skin and make your skin prone to many diseases.This is why your skin requires a through cleansing routine. Otherwise, these impurities clog the pores giving way to many skin problems. Your face should be cleaned everyday with a proper cleansing cream or lotion which is suitable to your skin.It is of utmost importance to remove all the dirt and make up from the face before going to bed. Cleansers should be applied with an upward movement and kept on skin for about a minute. Then remove with a tissue or damp cotton wool.
It is easy to make cleansing creams at home.Here are some easy to make face cleansing creams suitable to different types of skin.
Eight steps to make cleansing cream:
1). Put half tablespoon beeswax and one tablespoon emulsifying wax in a enamel bowl and melt over the water bath.
2). When melted, add the 2 tablespoons coconut oil and 4 tablespoons baby oil.
3). In a separate bowl heat 2 tablespoon water. And add one-fourth teaspoon borax. Keep heating till the borax completely dissolves.
4).Now add 1 tablespoon witch hazel to the water but do not leave it on the heat too long otherwise it will evaporate.
5). When the waxes have melted remove it from heat and mix the water, stirring continuously with a wooden spoon.
6). When the cream begins to cool, add perfume(lavender)
7). Beat until the mixture thickens.
8). Pour the cream in a glass jar and its ready to use.
